Barndale is a relaxed and friendly animal boarding property with a number of unique and special features. Owners Janet and Colin Christophersen offer boarding services for a variety of animals including dogs, cats and horses. The environment is relaxing and playful. The animals are treated as individuals and allowed to settle at their own place so that their stay is entirely stress-free.
A very personal and individual service is given to all our animals and their owners so that we can meet their own special requirements. Also we do everything by appointment to accommodate people’s travel arrangements with no inconvenient set hours. You can pick up and drop off your pet when it suits you.
Barndale is situated just off SH1 in Warkworth and is just seven minutes from the northern gateway tunnels, and 45-minutes from Auckland CBD.
OUR SERVICES
Dog's boarding with us stay in our home as if they are own pets. At night they sleep in our house so they need to be house trained as there are no kennels involved.
We like to follow as far as possible each dog’s normal diet and lifestyle so we request that you supply your dog’s food and whatever else you want your dog to have whilst they are staying with us.
The dog's enjoy a secure-fenced garden play in and a paddock to run around for more exercise if necessary.
DOG DAYCARE
Now you don't need to worry about leaving your dog at home for the day while you are out and about - just bring him over to Barndale! You can drop your dog off on your way out—have peace of mind and a carefree day—then pick your dog up on your way home.
BOARDING CATTERY
Here at Barndale, your cat will be treated with care, love and affection - as if they were our own. Accommodation is in purpose-built units where your cat eats and sleeps individually. Family units are available for two or more cats from the same family to share.
During the day your cat will be free to wander outside in either of our two outside playgrounds where he/she can bask in the sun, sleep in the shade, climb on tree branches or play with toys. In wet weather your cat can choose to stay in bed or play inside on the cat gym.
HORSE BOARDING
Whether you need horse boarding services for short term or long term grazing, Barndale can ensure that your horses are well looked after with the same care and philosophy we apply to all animals in our care.
Our 10 acre lifestyle property (located just out of Warkworth) offers a number of features for your horses to benefit from, including:

PET TRAVEL AND TRANSPORT
