Acacia Park Motel is one of the few pet-friendly establishments in Wanganui. It is situated in a tranquil tree, shrub and bush-covered setting. The park-like grounds overlook the Whanganui River with most of its activities, with an awesome walk for your pets.. Wild native bird life is abundant as well as our own flock of home-stays. Acacia Park Motel is an ideal place to stay for families with its large spacious grounds set in two-and-a-half acres with a children's play area.
We provide a relaxed family holiday environment. We can organise group tours and our grounds are available for wedding parties. There are 12 suites spaciously located around the grounds to maximise privacy and quietness. Seven family units with full kitchen facilities sleeping up to six persons. Two studio units with mini kitchens sleeping 2-3 persons and three studio units with tea/coffee facilities sleeping two persons. Bed and Breakfast options are also available.
