The Royal New Zealand SPCA provides help to animals and owners via our 48 branches nationwide 24-hours-a-day, seven-days-a-week.

SPCA centres do not receive government funding, relying on on donations, bequests and fundraising for our income.

The National Office coordinates the 48 branches, delivers inspector training, arranges national educational programmes, handles major prosecutions of national implication, promotes and handles all approaches to government for new and amended legislation relating to animal welfare as well as represents the Society on government committees, and liaises with international welfare groups.
